Thousands evacuated from Mexico’s Spanish Bank offices after threat

At least 11,000 people were evacuated from the Mexico city offices of Spanish bank BBVA and that included one of the tallest skyscrapers of the capital as well. Police had sent a team of bomb experts after they received threats from anonymous suspects. The Spanish Bank BBVA however said that it did not believe the threat to be real, but still, evacuated its headquarters in Torre Bancomer. It also evacuated its office in Parques Bancomer located in the upscale Polanco neighborhood. One of the spokesperson said that everyone was out of the building and they were also safe.
