Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey has expressed dissatisfaction over the fact that Turkey is restricted from possessing nuclear weapons whereas other countries own them blaming them for Hypocrite behavior.
While speaking with members of his AK party in Sivas he said, “ Few countries own missiles with nuclear warheads and it’s just not limited to one or two countries but these nations tell us that Turkey can’t possess any. This is unacceptable.”
Though he didn’t clarify if Turkey was planning to attain any nuclear weapons.
He further added that all developed nations of the world own nuclear weapons. He targeted Israel saying that the nuclear power that possesses serves as a danger to other countries and indirectly mentioned that he wished for similar safety for Turkey.
If are analysts are to be believed, Israel owns a sizable nuclear arsenal and chooses to maintain faintness on the matter denying to confirm or otherwise regarding its capabilities.
Turkey does not own nuclear weapons as it has been a part of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty since 1980.
Erdogan’s statement came in the midst of expanding defense ties between Turkey and Russia in resistance to Ankara’s NATO ally, the United States.
