It is now being confirmed that the recent Israeli attack has ensued due to internal politics. The attack has now affected Netanyahu’s only opponent Benny Gantz’s support system for winning the forthcoming election.
Political analysts have reasons to believe that the attack was orchestrated by Netanyahu to take the focus off his corruption indictment that had strengthened Gantz’s political position which came with support from the Arab Joint List.
The list was willing to support a minority government but has now withdrawn support post the unpleasant happenings in Israel.
The attack includes the assassination of Islamic Jihad leader Bahaa Abu Al-Atta and his wife in Gaza, as well as the failed attack in Damascus against Akram Ajoury.
It has been confirmed that prior to the attack, as many as 10 out of the 13 elected members of the Knesset were on board with the idea of supporting, externally, a minority government.
Now the number of those supporting this has been reduced, as the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality are opposed to supporting any government Israel.
Mixed news has been coming in that Netanyahu has chosen an appropriate time to pass the order for Atta’s assassination, an act that could have been done many times earlier in the year.
Gantz was aware of the attack and assassination and has somehow sided with Israel over the actions. However, he has lost the confidence of the Arab Joint List and now the future of Israel remains in choppy waters.
