Al-Mabrouk Abu Ameed, head of the Supreme Council of the Warshefana Tribes and official spokesman for the Conference of Libyan tribes and cities, which brings together dignitaries and sheikhs of the main social components of the North African country, said that Turkish president Erdogan “sends fighters to prevent the Muslim Brotherhood from falling in Tripoli and in a later stage, after bringing them to Libya, it will transfer them to Europe among immigrants to be their long-term executive arm in Europe”.
For their security, Abu Ameed suggested to Italy and Europe to stand with the Libyan National Army (LNA) under the command of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the police and security services, supporting them to be strong and able to deal with terrorism and illegal immigration. “Italy and Europe should stop negotiating and withdrawing their recognition to the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord (GNA) which supports terrorism”. The tribal leader said, adding that this was confirmed after GNA signed the security agreement and the delimitation of the maritime borders with Turkey, with which Erdogan introduced terrorists to Libya from Syria. “It is in the interest of the Libyan people and their neighbours that the army and security services are strong and perhaps the security situation in Libya before 2011 was better”. He affirmed.
Regarding the conferences and summit on Libya that Algeria and Tunisia proposed to host the spokesman of the Libyan tribes said that “no dialogue will be successful and stability will not take place in Libya, between its neighbours and its surroundings. The countries that supported the militias will pay the price as the Libyans pay, and the first will be the border countries of Libya and Italy, geographically closer than any other European country”.
