The Sabratha Operations Department of the Libyan Army’s General Command announced on Tuesday the death of the terrorist Safwan Abdul Hamid Jaber, one of the most dangerous members of ISIS and the most wanted by justice terrorist in Libya, during a raid targeting to the headquarters of the Al-Farouq Battalion, in the city of Zawiya west of the capital Tripoli.
Jaber, 26, is one of the most important and dangerous elements of ISIS organization trained to fight and kill by them, and one of the most wanted by the Attorney General, on charges of joining the organization and committing murders, since his escape in 2016 after participating in the slaughter of 11 policemen and killing 6 others inside the Security Directorate of Sabrata.
The liquidation of this dangerous terrorist came to reveal a direct relationship between ISIS and the armed militias, and clear cooperation between them.
Sabratha Chamber of Operations in this context pointed out that the latest events in the country confirmed that “militias and extremism are two sides of the same coin and proved that they are unified and work together against any serious attempt to end Chaos and create stability in Libya. ”
The air force planes of the Libyan army’s operations started on Monday several raids on armed militia positions in Zawya targeting the headquarters of Al-Faruq, one of the most important and dangerous armed groups in Zawiya.
