According to some sources Robert Mueller is nearing the completion of his report. Mueller is the special counsel who is conducting the investigation into the potential improprieties linked to the presidency as well as election campaign of Donald Trump.
However, this is unconfirmed. The investigation has been going on for nearly two years and it has been free from leaks. As such, there is no confirmed news from any party that the report has been completed. However, rumors are persisting about the same. Of course, there are also sources from the Trump administration who have vested interested in spreading the news.
Additionally, the report, once completed, will not be revealed in its entirety. Under the current regulations, Attorney General William Barr needs to provide a summary of the report for the Congress. He is under no obligation to reveal it completely. He has even suggested that he will not reveal details of the report that can affect unindicted individuals. Of course, the name at the top of that list is Donald Trump. After all, guidelines clearly say that a sitting president of the United States may not be indicted.
On the other hand, Democrats are currently in control of the House of Representatives. They have said that they are willing to challenge any rules that can prevent the full report from being disclosed to the public.
