Extremist beliefs hardened by isolating terrorists in jail

Researcher Clarke Jones and his Filipino colleague used a decade in monitoring the effects of harsher prison environments. Jones told, “When prisons become overcrowded or the conditions become extremely harsh, then there’s a greater chance of prison radicalisation and also less chance of rehabilitation.”
