The Turkish regime continues its repressive practices and continuous violations against the Turkish people, due to their political differences with the ruling regime, which varied between the separation, detention, intimidation and systematic killing of opponents in Turkey, these violations affected the elderly and young people through abuse and torture.
One of the elderly detainees in Turkey died, at the age of 74, after suffering from diabetes and stress, due to the deliberate negligence of the prison administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the mistreatment of the prisoners.
The prisoner was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for political reasons, He had been receiving treatment in the Turkish city of Sirad Governmental Hospital a month ago, due to the deterioration of his condition, and he had performed two surgeries before entering the prison, the hospital administration had to undergo surgical intervention two days ago because of his tumors.
The matter did not stop there. Rather, the Turkish trustee who was appointed to head the municipality of Diyarbakir by the decision of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to dismiss an employee in the municipality’s cultural section, after she lost her legs due to an attack by ISIS on June 5, 2015.

Turkish human rights organizations revealed that the number of prisoners complaints about torture and terrible treatment within Turkish prisons increased to 840 during the 11 months of 2019, as well as increasing repressive practices by the government against prisoners, with the aim of pressuring and punishing people and forcing them to Acknowledge the truth, while Turkey recorded 10 thousand enforced disappearances in 2019.
Last November, the Turkish Ministry of Interior arrested 4 mayors of the cities of Chanli Urfa and Mardin and appointed 4 guardians of the ruling Justice and Development Party to replace them.
The Turkish forces also arrested 10 people as part of their campaign against Erdogan, including the head of the province of Madhi Draghi, Nalan Ozaydin, the head of the Drake district, Mulkia Asmas, and the head of the Savor province, Gulistan Unjo, in the Turkish city of Mardin.
The mayor of Sourouche also was arrested by the Democratic Peoples Party, Khadija Shafiq, who won the March 31 elections as the mayor of the province with 59% of the total votes.
