Bangladesh tells United Nations that it cannot take any more refugees

The authorities of Bangladesh have said to the United Nations Security Council that it will not be able to entertain any more refugees in the country from Myanmar. It has been close to 18 months that the refugees about 700,000 people who mainly Rohingya Muslims started fleeing across a border after a military crackdown. The Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, Shahidul Haque said that Bangladesh was no longer in a position of accepting more refugees from Myanmar due to lack of accommodation.
