Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday stated that Israeli forces had pulled off another assault in Iran-affiliated Syria, a day after the Syrian army stated that an Israeli drone fired missiles near a destroyed hospital and an army observation checkpoint. Netanyahu affirmed that Israel forces hit Hezbollah targets in Syria. He even stated that they are acting against Iran every day and throughout the day. They are working against Iran’s endeavor to establish itself in the area. He made this statement before flying yo Poland for a Mideast conference.
Israel is attempting to negate the influence created in Syria by Iran, which has backed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the war that broke out in 2011.
Monday’s air attack, which was carried out in the southern Quneitra province caused only material damage, according to the Syrian army.
Israel has been growingly open about conducting air blitz in Syria while an election is impending in April.
Netanyahu has declared in the past weeks that Israel has carried out hundreds of assaults in Syria over the last many years and would increase its fight ensuing the planned pull out of U.S. troops from the nation.
