The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the Houthi revolutionary militia of carrying out executions against civilians, liquidating the wounded, carrying out arrests of doctors and employees, and raiding homes in Al-Hazm, the Al-Jawf governorate center, in the northeast of the country.
The general director of the Yemeni Ministry of Information office in Al-Jawf governorate, Yahya Qama ‘, said that the Houthi militia carried out field executions of citizens in Al-Hazm city.
He explained that the Houthi militia executed two doctors at the Health Bureau in Al-Hazm, and also killed a farmer and injured another of the people of Saada governorate, at the draft point in the city of Al-Hazm.
In his tweets, he added, “The Houthis also executed three citizens of Al-Hazm city, who belonged to the Al-Mahashim tribe on Monday evening.”
The Yemeni Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Iryani, said that field reports from Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf confirm that the Houthi militia committed field executions, liquidation of the wounded in Al-Hazm hospital, kidnappings and arrests of the medical staff, academics and employees in the executive offices.
He pointed to the militia’s raid on dozens of homes, with the participation of Zinbatia, intimidation of children and women, and the storming and looting of shops.
Al-Iryani pointed out, in his tweets, that reports confirmed the displacement of more than 25,000 civilians, ils people, women and children in the largest displacement wave in the city since 2014, due to the revenge and abuse operations practiced by the Houthi militia without any religious scruples or Moral or humanity, and the militia barricaded the remaining civilians and prevented them from leaving the city.
The Yemeni Information Minister pointed out that these horrific crimes are wahed by the international community and the special envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths. He added that Griffiths “did not move a finger against the Houthi militia’s aggression against Al-Jawf Governorate and recently issued a loose statement in which he did not mention Houthi as the party responsible for this escalation and oblige him to stop his military operations.”
Local residents also confirmed that the Houthi militia had bombed military leaders’ homes, stormed citizens homes, arrested dozens, and robbed and looted public and private property. It also prevented citizens from leaving the city and took them as human shields.
