According to the reports that are release by the United Nations Security Council, it has warned that the Al Qaeda linked militants and the Islamist States still consider Afghanistan as a safe Haven. The United Nations has also described the relationship between Al Qaeda and the Taliban to be a long standing one and also that is very strong. The report said that the Islamist States and the Al Qaeda militants continue to see Afghanistan as a safe Haven for its leadership. In the report it was also mentioned that both the militant groups continued to show their presence in Afghanistan as well.
