Afghan elections dampened by Taliban bombings


In a period of ten years, for the first time the Afghans had taken to polling for electing candidates to the National Assembly and build a future of the country. But, the democratic turnout has been dampened by the series of violent attacks. The security forces have claimed that more than 100 attacks have taken place before the elections.
