At least three police officers were killed in a Taliban suicide attack on the district police headquarter in eastern Ghazni province.
An Afghan Authority stated. A provincial police chief’s representative, Ahmad Khan Serat, said that the blast in the Ab Band district also injured 12 police officers.
He added that the Taliban, who operates a significant part of the region, utilized a stolen military Humvee in the assault, which partly damaged the police headquarter.
Taliban representative Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the suicide bombing attack.
The Taliban operates around half of Afghanistan and launches daily assaults all over the country, predominantly focusing on Afghan security forces. In Ghazni province, there was a gun battle between the Taliban and Afghan security forces for an hour in the region of Khogyani. In which the district police chief and three policemen got killed on Thursday, according to Arab News.
